A HOLIDAY SEASON CANNOT BE GUTTED BY THE PANDEMIC

The Christmas season is here! However, we are still in the midst of a global epidemic that turned our life upside down. Many people are asking if there is a way to make the holidays more festive this year, or if we will simply have to let it go this year.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been stressful and isolating for many people. The year 2020 has already proven itself to be a difficult year, and at this point it's expected that our Christmas celebration will look a little different too. Many of people lost their jobs, business, and still finding a way on how to recover. But a global pandemic doesn't have to ruin the festive season completely. We can still celebrate Christmas this year in our own little ways.

Christmas is a season of giving, but remember that presence is more important than gifts. To make your Christmas party complete, you don't need to acquire tangible items. I hope we understand that having a fun time with our loved ones is more important than material stuff. If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it's to cherish the little things in life. Be it a glass of wine by the Christmas tree or unwrapping a gift from someone you love. With an uncertain future looming ahead, it's more important now than ever to be grateful for our day to day lives. This season should be a great time to be with each other's presence.

Lastly, we must never forget the true purpose of Christmas. This pandemic should not prevent us from celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Remember the real meaning of Christmas this year and enjoy God's wonderful gesture of love. Christmas is a time to give thanks for everything God has done for humanity and to celebrate His birth by giving presents, worshiping Him, and looking forward to the promise of Heaven.

  1. I love the part of this blog where you mentioned that this pandemic taught us to appreciate little things and that the true purpose of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Even if there are a lot of happening right now in this time of pandemic, we should always try to be happy and bright and celebrate Christmas with a wide smile on our faces. Happy Holidays <3

  2. Absolutely, this pandemic should not prevent us from celebrating the birth of Christ and we must not forget the purpose of Christmas. But we must not also forget to follow instructions and regulations in celebrating our Christmas to prevent Covid-19.
